Drilling by Can Mac has delineated the down plunge extension of the A zone for 300 ft. The program was designed to test for the extension of a rich surface showing which yielded assays up to 4.49 oz gold per ton from gr ab samples.
Assays from the recent drill program are expected shortly. The company is encouraged by the presence of visible gold in several sections.
Hole 89-3 intersected two mineralized zones of 3.8 ft and 14.9 ft in width, both of which had visible gold. Visible gold was also intersected in hole 89-4 which cut the two zones across widths of 5 ft and 3.5 ft.
At the company’s Boston Gold Leaf property near Kirkland Lake, Ont., three drill holes intersected low grading gold mineralization across narrow widths. The best results came in hole 88-4 which yielded a 3.28-ft section grading 0.194 oz gold.
The Boston Gold Leaf property protects several zones of quartz veining and stockworks within an intrusive body.
