Campbell hits record production

The Campbell Red Lake mine continues to expand, following record production of 71,317 tons in 1949. Work is currently focused on opening up a zone 600 ft. from the shaft on the mine’s deepest level. Underground exploration is targeting areas near zone A, including the driving of a crosscut into a zone that returned 0.68 oz. over 5 ft.
