Economic grades of copper and zinc with associated silver values have been intersected over a strike length of 2,000 ft on the Hanson Lake property controlled by Cameco — A Canadian Mining and Energy Co., Esso Minerals and Tri Gold Industries (VSE).
Located in Saskatchewan, 40 miles west of Flin Flon, Man., the Hanson Lake property protects three parallel massive sulphide zones. Lense two is the deepest, remaining open below 1,000 ft.
Some of the better results from the on-going drill program include hole 14 which cut 3.6 ft grading 5.8% zinc, 0.42 oz silver and marginal copper values per ton in lens one. A 4.6-ft section from lens two assayed 10.5% zinc, 0.2% copper and 0.36 oz silver.
Another hole in the same lense returned 13.4 ft grading 9.9% zinc. A sulphide stringer zone just a few feet below the massive sulphide intersection in the same hole, assayed 1.6% copper across 46 ft.
