Callinan encouraged by War Baby drilling

Drilling at the War Baby property in Flin Flon, Man., has intersected a 5-metre interval grading 6.13% copper and 0.02 oz. gold plus 0.77 oz. silver per ton between a depth of 1,903 and 1,908 metres.

The interval occurs in a 9.9-metre section of altered rhyolitic quartz porphyry and lapilli tuff averaging 3.36% copper.

Consolidated Callinan Flin Flon Mines (CFF-V) is wedge-drilling off a 1,912-metre-long hole to test geophysical anomalies identified by a downhole pulse-electromagnetic survey.

The property adjoins the southeastern boundary of Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting’s Callinan mine claims. Consolidated Callinan believes the War Baby property straddles the down-plunge extension of the base metal mine.
