Bulk sample test planned by Aunore, Nova Beaucage

Joint-venture partners Aunore Resources and Nova Beaucage Mines say they plan to start mining in April a bulk sample from the Elder gold property near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., and hopefully will be in production by July.

Current reserves stand at close to 1.5 million tons, including a probable 742,000 tons in the 0.19-oz gold-per-ton range and a possible 716,000 tons in the 0.18-oz range.

The companies report that on the 12th level west, they are currently completing a series of underground drill holes to check the hangingwall and footwall of the No 1 vein.

Recent surface drill results on the No 1 vein include the following:

Grade

Width (diluted) Hole (ft) (oz/t) 87-18 2 0.17 87-22 4 0.23 87-25 4.9 0.58 87-21 5.4 0.2 87-24 4.7 0.17
