Additional drilling is planned on the Bru-Lovie gold project in Crescent Valley, Nevada.
Consolidated Ramrod Gold (TSE) has drilled eight offset holes to test mineralization around hole CB94-2, which intersected 35 ft., from 60 to 95 ft., grading 0.069 oz. gold per ton.
Results from the offset holes include 25 ft. grading 0.014 oz. in hole 7; 25 ft. grading 0.047 oz. in hole 8; 50 ft. grading 0.025 oz. plus 10 ft. grading 0.06 oz. in hole 9; and 50 ft. grading 0.032 oz. in hole 10. Assay results from the remaining four holes are pending.
Ramrod plans to drill at least 28 more holes in its next phase of work, which is already under way.
The company is earning a half interest in the project from 50-50 partners Bradner Resources (VSE) and Akiko Gold Resources (VSE) by spending US$1.5 million. It can earn a further 10% by spending another US$1 million. Bradner and Akiko can acquire the property outright for a price increasing in stages from US$2 million by April 1, 1995, up to US$5 million by April 1, 1999.
