British Columbia awards grants

Forty-six companies in British Columbia will receive grants totaling $2.2 million from the province’s Mineral Exploration Incentive Program (MEIP).

Applications for 201 projects were received during the approximately 2-month period (ended May 27) during which the grants were made available. Also, 10 industrial mineral mining and exploration companies in the province will receive grants under MEIP totaling $201,673. Applications in this area numbered 17.
