The Peruvian subsidiary of Britannia Gold (VSE) has staked a 28-sq.-km land package near Arequipa Resources’ (TSE) Pierina property, about 300 km north of Lima.
Named the Romy claim, it covers a section of the Calipuy volcanic sequence that is host to the mineralization at Pierina.
Romy is 9 km southwest of Pierina and 5 km west of a base-metal mine at Santo Toribio.
