For the 9-month period ended Sept. 30, Consolidated Brinco realized net earnings of $1.23 million or 7 cents per share. This compares with earnings of $946,000 or 3 cents per share realized in the comparable period last year. After an extraordinary item, earnings increased to $1.4 million.
