A soft-cover publication in an 8.5-by-11-inch format, Garbani’s book lists 12,600 mines and mining companies with their corresponding mineral district or closest geographical location. All listed companies conducted mining in Arizona between 1854 and 1954. Other features are black-and-white reproductions of many old stocks and bonds. Maps also feature mining districts, with a previously unpublished, loose, large, fold-up map identifying about 260 mining districts.
