Peter Bojtos won the “Name the Minerals” contest at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s annual convention, March 11-14. He is vice-president of corporate development at Kerr Addison Mines. Bojtos was awarded a $400 gift certificate to European Jewelery for correctly identifying the economic mineral in each of the three rock samples and matching it with the province or territory of origin; silvite, with Saskatchewan, pentlandite with Ontario and pyrochlore with Quebec.
