BMR encouraged by drilling

Recent drilling on the America Mine project owned and operated by BMR Gold (VSE) has further delineated the area where the company hopes to start open pit mining. The America Mine is in San Bernardino Cty., Calif. Frank Varseveld, president of BMR, noted the company was concentrating on an area of mineralization about 2,000 ft. in width, containing four parallel high-grade zones with lower-grade material between them.

The zone has been traced for a strike length of about 3,500 ft. and to a depth of up to 650 ft. He noted the individual high-grade zones were up to 200 ft. thick, with grades of 0.08-0.10 oz. gold per ton, while the intervening low grade averaged 0.02-0.05 oz. gold per ton.

He was particularly pleased by the correlation between mineralized zones defined by drilling, to magnetic lows encountered on magnetometer surveys.

BMR has engaged Fluor Daniel Wright, Consulting Engineers, to carry out a feasibility study and detailed engineering for the initial feasibility target. During the next 60 days, the company plans an expanded magnetometer survey and further drilling along with a preliminary feasibility study. Results from recent drilling are: Intercept Length Grade Hole (ft) (ft) (oz/ton) 93 370-445 75 0.054 98 470-515 45 0.071 100 450-485 35 0.078 107 310-375 75 0.026 108 295-325 30 0.046 114 205-250 45 0.072 115 295-320 25 0.059 116 260-315 55 0.045 117 545-645 100 0.145
