Black Swan executive trims stock holdings

Recent insider trading transactions reported by the Ontario Securities Commission in its OSC Bulletin include the following:

Black Swan Resources (BSW-T) — Kenneth Judge, director and owner of more than 10% of the company, sold 2 million indirectly held shares privately at 30 apiece to hold 12.8 million shares indirectly.

Diamond Fields International (DFI-T) — Francis Waldron, director, bought 12,000 shares at US55-65, acquired 2,500 shares through a plan and was granted 200,000 options that can be exercised at 72 apiece to hold 259,700 shares and 425,000 options; Kevin Dardis, director, acquired 2,500 shares through a plan and allowed 50,000 options priced at $1.60 to expire, then received 25,000 options priced at 72 to hold 5,000 shares and 200,000 options; Raymond Flood, director, was granted 50,000 options priced at 72 to hold 250,000 options; Horng-Dih Lee, officer, acquired 9,200 shares through a plan and was granted 40,000 options priced at 72 to hold 81,270 shares and 140,000 options; Frank Potter, director, acquired 2,500 shares through a plan and was granted 50,000 options priced at 72 to hold 50,000 options; Trevor Schultz, director, acquired 2,500 shares through a plan and was granted 25,000 priced at 72 to hold 71,666 shares and 133,334 options; and Allan Walden, director, bought 5,556 shares at 87, acquired 9,700 shares through a plan, exercised 5,200 options at 32 and was granted 25,000 options priced at 72 to hold 48,107 shares and 84,800 options.

Etruscan Resources (EET-T) — Gerald McConnell, director, bought 416,666 treasury shares indirectly at 60 to hold 1.3 million shares indirectly or directly; and Glen Holmes, officer, bought 500 shares at 54 to hold 58,800 shares.

Gammon Lake Resources (GAM-T) – Keith MacGillivray, director, sold 46,754 shares at $1.30-$3.05 and bought 4,000 shares at $1.58 or $1.68 to hold 301,300 shares; Bradley Langille, director and owner of more than 10%, bought 6,300 shares indirectly at $1.45-$1.48 and sold 3,300 shares indirectly at $1.71 to hold 1.4 million shares indirectly; Burton Langille, director, sold 96,400 shares at $1.22-$1.55 to hold 250,444 shares; and Terence Coughlan, director, bought 2,500 shares indirectly at $1.40 to hold 403,500 shares indirectly.

Hope Bay Gold (HGC-T) – William Wilson, owner of more than 10%, bought 300,000 shares at 39-43 to hold 500,000 shares; and Dundee Precious Metals, owner of more than 10%, acquired in a private placement 7 million shares, at 44, and 3.7 million warrants, priced at 44, as well as disposed of 12.1 million warrants to hold 39.1 million shares and 15.7 million warrants.

Kettle River Resources (KRR-V) – Ellen Clements, director, acquired in a private placement 75,000 shares at 40, bought 13,000 shares at 27 or 30, sold 1,500 shares and was granted 75,000 warrants priced at 50 to hold 600,370 shares and 75,000 warrants; and George Stewart, deemed an insider under regulations, acquired in a private placement 75,000 shares at 40 and was granted 75,000 warrants priced at 50 to hold 372,035 shares and 75,000 warrants.

Wheaton River Minerals (WRM-T) – Ian McDonald, director, sold 85,000 shares at 46-94 to hold 766,005 shares; Kerry Knoll, director, sold 20,000 at 46-63 to hold 467,916 shares; Laurence Curtis, director, bought 33,000 shares directly or indirectly at 60-62 to hold 45,000 shares; Paul Stein, officer, bought 30,200 shares indirectly at 61-62 to hold 33,200 shares indirectly; Derek Price, officer, acquired in a private placement 60,000 special warrants at 55 and sold 10,000 shares directly at 55 to hold 60,000 special warrants and 232,872 shares; and Peter Tredger, director, acquired in a private placement 20,000 warrants at 55 and sold 10,000 shares directly at 67 to hold 20,000 special warrants and 224,477 shares.
