Black Bull producing

Vancouver — Black Bull Resources (BBS-V) has started producing coarse, crushed quartz at its White Rock mine in Yarmouth Cty., N.S.

White Rock is the largest resource of white quartz in eastern North America (12.2 million tonnes, measured and indicated, grading 97.4% SiO2 purity) — something that has not been lost on U.S. Silica of West Virginia, which has entered into an agreement to market the product.

The deposit also hosts a significant resource of kaolin (4.7 million tonnes grading 24.2% kaolin) and mica, which will be developed later. Kaolin is an industrial clay used as filler and coating in the paper industry.

Next year, Black Bull will add crushing and screening circuits.

An independent study indicates White Rock could potentially sell 250,000 tonnes annually.

The operation is accessible by paved road close to an electrical grid and tidewater ports.

Black Bull has 22.5 million shares outstanding and trades in the range of 75-80 per share.
