Bishop plans percussion drilling

Percussion drilling is expected to begin shortly on Bishop Resources International Exploration’s (CDN) Guadalupe gold property in northwestern Mexico.

The program will focus on the Bentley Hill zone where 22 samples, taken over a strike length of 2,000 ft., averaged 0.81 oz. gold per ton. The company has found alluvial gold mineralization throughout the property, situated 160 km southeast of Hermosillo. Much of this is reported to be amenable to low-cost surface mining and heap leaching.

Bishop is modifying a gold concentrator for bulk testing.
