Birim tests Bui area licences

Soil-sampling and mapping programs are under way at the 7,000-sq.-km Bui area licences in central Ghana, reports Birim Goldfields (BGI-T).

The Montreal-based junior has focused its efforts on Birimian rock formations and Tarkaian conglomerates; both formations host producing gold deposits in Ghana. Trenching and drilling will test more than 30 known prospects, as well as newly identified anomalies, once selected areas have been converted into prospecting licences.

Meanwhile, Battle Mountain Gold (BMG-N) continues to drill-test Birim’s Dunkwa gold property, situated in the Ashanti belt of Ghana.
