Drilling by American Barrick Resources on the Worvest option immediately west of Barrick’s Holt-McDermott gold mine has increased drill-indi cated reserves to more than one million tons grading 0.134 oz gold per ton. This comes from partner Lenora Explorations. Barrick and Lenora hold a 65% and 35% interest in the project respectively.
Lenora also says that Barrick has let a contract for the development of a haulage way from the Holt underground workings into the Worvest claims. The property is located in the Harker-Holloway area, north of Kirkland Lake, Ont.
