Band-Ore uncovers PGEs

Sampling by Band-Ore Resources (BAN-T) at its recently acquired Nym Lake property has returned respectable platinum and palladium values.

Five of six grab samples collected along 200 metres of an intrusive returned more than 1 gram of combined platinum-palladium per tonne. One sample returned 3 grams palladium-platinum per tonne, as well as 0.45% copper, 0.08% nickel and 2.9 grams silver.

The property is 15 km south of the town of Atikokan in northwestern Ontario.

The next stage of work will include geophysical testing and goelogical mapping.
