Balcor drilling Manitoba claims

Some encouraging drill results have been reported from Balcor Resources’ Lasthope property, 15 miles southeast of Lynn Lake, Man. The latest results included 8.5 ft of 0.307 oz gold per ton and 9.3 ft of 0.358 oz. These are core lengths. Two holes completed a few weeks ago were even more impressive. They returned 0.719 oz across 14.5 ft and 0.816 oz across 4.2 ft.

Because of its initial success, the company has expanded the drill program to 7,000 ft. Funding for the next stage has been arranged through National Investors Management (nim). The third phase, which will also include some geophysics, is estimated to cost $335,000.

The property consists of four unpatented mineral claims representing an area of four square miles. The current program is designed to increase drill indicated reserves which now stand at 107,000 tons grading 0.35 oz gold.
