B.C. mining award

The Mining Person of the Year Award — jointly sponsored by the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) and the Mining Suppliers, Contractors and Consultants Association (MSCCA) — is to honor an individual who has promoted the industry’s goals and helped the public to understand them.

The public is invited to nominate candidates from all over British Columbia by Jan. 31. The awardee for 1990 will be honored at a luncheon on March 2 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver.

Send submissions to Mining Association of British Columbia, P.O. Box 12540, 860-1066 W. Hastings St. Vancouver, B.C. V6E 3X1. For further information contact Jan Beck. Phone: (604) 681-4321.
