“These grants help the prospectors of today search for the mines of tomorrow,” said Mines Minister Jack Davis.
Last year, 128 grants worth a total of $376,725 were made and generated 14 option agreements worth more than $1 million.
Grants will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis and applications will be evaluated on technical quality, experience, training, financial commitment and references.
