Aurizon options Hoblitzell claims

Having recently obtained the right to earn a 60% stake in Hoblitzell Twp. claims held jointly by Golden Dragon Resources (VSE) and Glen Auden Resources (TSE), Aurizon Mines (TSE) is preparing to start drilling on the property. The claims cover the western extension of the Casa Berardi, Que., trend and are close to gold discoveries reported by Cogema Canada and Newmont Exploration Canada, a subsidiary of Newmont Mining (NYSE). Under an option agreement, Aurizon can exercise the option by paying out $52,000 in cash and spending $250,000-500,000 on exploration and diamond drilling. Glen Auden says preliminary exploration, including ground magnetic and I.P. geophysical surveys, have traced a shear zone across the property and defined chargeability zones that appear to reflect sulphides. The sulphides could be a favorable host for gold mineralization, according to Glen Auden.
