A 3,500-ft. drilling program is under way on property in Hoblitzell Twp., 90 km northeast of Cochrane, Ont., Aurizon Mines (TSE) reports.
Aurizon may earn a 60% interest in the property from Glen Auden Resources (TSE) and Golden Dragon Resources (VSE) by spending $500,000 on exploration work and paying $52,000 in option payments.
The program is designed to test three types of targets for gold mineralization indicated through geophysical work.
The Casa Berardi gold mine of Inco Ltd. and Golden Knight Resources sits 100 km to the east of the optioned property.
