Aur has record year

Aur Resources (AUR-T) earned US$96.9 million in 2004, a record year for the company. The earnings, equal to US$1.03 per share, came on revenues of US$336.9 million.

In 2003 Aur posted earnings of US$10.9 million (US11) on revenues of US$215.6 million.

The company’s share of copper from its producing mines was 107,000 tonnes, on which it realized an average US$3,040 per tonne (US$1.38 per lb.), up from US$1,850 per tonne (US84 per lb.) in 2003.
