Augmitto plans underground work

Additional underground exploration is expected to start shortly on Augmitto Explorations’ gold property near Rouyn, Que. The work is being funded by a unit offering completed on Oct 15.

The underground work will include a 1,500-ft underground advance in the existing decline ramp, designed to access the lower carbonate unit. Bulk sampling, surface and underground drilling are also planned, the company says.

Probable reserves are calculated at 1.45 million tons grading 0.16 oz gold per ton. Additional inferred reserves stand at 945,000 tons grading 0.165 oz gold per ton. Both figures include a 15% dilution factor, the company says. Th e main mineralized zone has been tested along strike for 3,000 ft and to a depth of 1,400 ft.
