A preliminary reserve calculation for the Fourax II property shared equally by Augmitto Explorations and Bay Resources and Services, concludes the property has possible reserves of 675,000 tons grading 0.17 oz gold per ton.
Located in Fourniere Twp., Que., the Fourax property is being tested by a $500,000 drilling program; the first phase of which intersected five sub-parallel zones occupying a 600-ft wide target horizon. The entire zone strikes for 1,600 ft and remains open along strike and below a depth of 900 ft.
Some of the better intersections from the drill program are included below.
Grade Hole Intersection (ft.) oz Au/t 84-1 8.0 0.128 84-4 4.0 0.51 84-7 10.0 0.11 86-4 14.9 0.15 86-5 2.0 2.0 86-6 4.2 0.12 86-9 26.0 0.08 86-10 3.2 0.46 86-11 19.2 0.22 86-12 8.8 0.28 86-16 4.0 0.17 86-23 8.5 0.54
Augmitto notes that the core sections are close to true width. Additional drilling will be performed this year to assess the potential of several other zones on the property.
