Audrey finds showing near Belleterre mine

Three wide quartz veins have been discovered in a stripping program on the Belleterre property near Temiscamingue Lake, Que.

The work, being carried out by Audrey Resources as operator of joint venture with Lyon Lake Mines, is located 10 m north of a narrower vein that yielded grades of 0.14, 0.145, 0.20, 1.51, 1.64 and 1.74 oz gold per ton, according to Guy Hebert, president of Audrey.

The recently discovered veins are 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 m wide while the previous vein is only 0.2-0.7 m wide.

The property is adjacent to the former-producing Belleterre mine that produced 2.2 million tons grading 0.31 oz gold per ton.

Audrey, which already has a producing property, the Mobrun mine, near Rouyn-Noranda, is listed in both Toronto and Montreal.
