Audrey drilling new discovery

The first phase of an underground drilling program on the C lens, discovered near the 1100 lens at the Mobrun polymetallic mine near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., has been completed, Audrey Resources (TSE) reports. The company says holes that intersected the top of the C lens cut uneconomic lengths or grades, while four deeper holes intersected impressive lengths and grades, indicating the potential at depth. Audrey’s project partner is Minnova (TSE).

Among the deeper holes reported intersecting the C lens was 90-11-48, which cut 182 ft. of 0.45% copper, 7.37% zinc and 0.26 oz. silver and 0.07 oz. gold per ton.

A number of the holes also intersected the 1100 lens.
