Coats-listed Delbridge Mines reports good assays in three trenches blasted north and south of the main shaft on its DeSantis property in Turnbull twp., southwest of Timmins. Assays ran in excess of of 5 oz gold per ton along the 130-ft north trench and 0.72 oz gold per ton in the south trench.
A third trench, located 1 1/4 miles north, assayed 0.65 oz gold per ton, according to president Robert Onotsky.
On the company’s Mishibishu property near Wawa, preliminary drilling has intersected a structure which assaying 0.11 oz gold and 0.80 oz silver and 3.1% copper.
Delbridge has also renegotiated an option on a property in the Northwest Territories from Noranda Exploration. The property, called the Musk property, has 400,000 proven tons grading 0.06 oz gold, 11.4 oz silver per ton and 9,8% zinc, according to Mr Onotsky.
The company is also entertaining an interest in a natural gas venture in the U.S., Mr Onotsky says.
