Assays awaited on Orex’s Goldboro

A 4-hole test drilling program has been completed by Minnova (TSE) on Exploration Orex’s (ME) Goldboro property in Guysborough Cty., N.S. The program was designed to confirm results from four earlier 1989 holes which intersected wide intervals of high-grade gold mineralization including visible gold. Orex President Michel Roy said all the holes have been sampled in 5-metre sections and the core has been sent for total gold extraction assaying in a Toronto area laboratory. He said the mineralized zones appear identical to those encountered in earlier work, while the geology observed was also similar to that of the previous holes. Both companies will supervise all steps of the analysis procedure and final results will be released as soon as possible.

As well, Orex reports that Minnova has made the first payment of $200,000 due to Onitap Resources (TSE) as part of its sale of the Goldboro property to Orex.
