Asquith completes Shining Tree work

On the Buckingham mine claims, the company reports it has outlined a gold zone extending across a length of 500 ft and to a depth of 200 ft. Three quartz vein structures have been encountered within the zone, which is described as a quartz-rich carbonate shear structure. Some of the bette r intersections include 8.4 ft of 0.27 oz gold and 8.9 ft of 0.21 oz. A number of lower grade intersections were also reported.

A summer program of definition drilling is planned for the Buckingham mine property to expand on earlier results. Funding for the work is currently being negotiated and could include $150,000 from the company’s joint venture partners and a further $200,000 from Asquith.
