A $2-million program of exploration is testing the gold potential of the Roandji project in the Central African Republic.
The 2,000-sq.-km project is held by Asquith Resources (CDN) but is operated by the company’s controlling shareholder, United Reef (TSE).
United Reef’s geologists have been on the ground for the past two months and are said to be encouraged by
the geology, which, historically, has resulted in several
gold showings.
Soil sampling has begun, but results are not yet available. A geophysical survey will commence shortly, with the first phase of drilling scheduled for early September.
