Armistice pulls exciting section

The company reports hole 18W60-5 cut 12.1 ft of 1.26 oz gold per ton, the hole being one of six drilled from the 1850 level. (See N.M., Jan 23/89 for other intersection results from the same level.)

The Armistice exploration program is trying to prove that a down- faulting of the Kerr Addison orebody has occurred. Drilling from the 1,850-level intersected the Sheldon zone, which is believed to lie above the Kerr zone.

The company says the first opportunity to examine the Kerr zone in detail should occur this month when an underground drilling station is established at the 2,050-level. A shaft is being sunk to 4,000 ft; sinking crews are currently working at 2,050 ft.

Armistice plans continuous drilling from the 1,850 and 2,050-levels until April.
