The company says the first hole of the program is under way at a drill station 300 ft west of the main shaft on the newly-developed 2,250-ft level.
Two deep holes were recently completed into the Kerr zone (through the Sheldon zone) from the 2,050-ft level station, Both holes, the company reports, intersected the Kerr zone structure and indicated the Kerr zone is raking to the west, similar to the more shallow Sheldon zone.
Armistice is extending the 2550 level drive an additional 600 ft to the west to provide further access to drill both the Kerr and Sheldon zones.
One of the holes, 20W75-2, intersected, in the Sheldon zone, 0.3 oz gold per ton over 42 ft, the company reports.
The Armistice project is located next to the old Kerr Addison mine. The company’s deep-drilling program is aimed at proving that the Kerr orebody down -faulted and continued westward on to the Armistice property.
