Armistice drilling confirms zone

The drilling, from stations on the 2,250-ft level, is part of a 35,000- ft underground drilling program under way on Armistice property adjacent to the old Kerr Addison mine at Virginiatown, Ont. The company says the holes confirm the extent of the Sheldon 185 zone.

Armistice is trying to prove the Kerr orebody downfaulted at its western boundary and is present, perhaps as deep as 6,000 ft, on the Armistice property.

A second rig is being used to probe the Kerr zone. One hole is currently being drilled to examine an area about 3,000 ft below surface.

In other news, Guy Hinse, who has been working with Armistice on the Virginiatown project, has been appointed the company’s vice- president exploration.

Armistice was recently listed for trading on NASDAQ (over-the- counter) in the United States.
