At the Aldebaran property in north-central Chile, Arizona Star Resource (VSE) expects to complete, by September, a pre-feasibility study for an open-pit heap-leach project.
The company is earning a 51% interest in the project from a Chilean company and last year estimated preliminary reserves to be 68 million tonnes grading 0.86 grams gold per tonne.
