Vancouver-based Ariel Resources (VSE) says it produced 410 oz. gold from 1,834 tons of ore milled during July at its Tres Hermanos mine in Costa Rica. July was the fourth month in which Ariel has maintained significant production at the Costa Rica mine. So far, the 100-ton-per-day operation has churned out 1,465 oz.
Ariel says it was paying for all the capital costs of the mine expansion, including a newly acquired 300-ton-per-day mill, which the company hopes to have up and running by Sept. 1.
