Anvil retains financial adviser

Toronto-based Anvil Range Mining (ARO-T) has retained RBC Dominion Securities to help review refinancing options that would allow the company to resume operations at Faro, Y.T.

As financial adviser, RBC Dominion would examine various options, including a restructuring of the 8.5% convertible debentures, a rights offering, and other public or private offerings of equity securities.

The Faro mine produced zinc and lead concentrates, as well as significant amounts of silver, during its mine life. Operations were suspended last year in response to low metal prices, particularly for zinc.
