With results in hand for all till samples collected during the 1997 program, partners Caledonia Mining (CAL-T) and Condor International Resources (COD-V) have defined a geochemical anomaly on the Hunter East block at their Kikerk Lake diamond exploration project in the Northwest Territories.
The indicator-mineral anomaly, which measures 500 metres by 200 metres, is believed to represent a kimberlite pipe. Ongoing work will include infill till sampling, ground geophysical surveys and follow-up diamond drilling.
Condor has the right to earn a 50% interest in the project from Caledonia.
