Ameritex Resources and joint- venture partner Cogema Canada are planning an $815,000 exploration program at the Burntbush River project in Noseworthy and Hoblitzell twps. in northeastern Ontario, Ameritex said recently.
According to Ameritex, the two companies have identified what they believe to be the extension of the Casa Berardi break running east-west through the 312 claim group.
Their conclusion, they say, is based on the results of reverse circulation drill programs in February and July 1987 (at 400 X 400-m and 200 X 200-m spacings).
As a followup, Ameritex says plans for 1988 include line cutting and ground geophysical surveys over two selected areas of the property and induced polarization surveys covering approximately eight km.
In February and March, a 15-hole, 3,300-m diamond drill program will be conducted on the eastern and central sections of the property. At the same time, the partners say they will complete an 800-m reverse circulation drill program.
Based in Wyoming, Ameritex was trading recently on the Vancouver Stock Exchange at 31 cents in a 52-week range of 39 cents and 30 cents . Cogema Canada is a subsidiary of the French Atomic Energy Commission.
