AME BC wants your photos

The Vancouver-based Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) is holding a contest for the best photographs of mineral exploration in B.C., throughout Canada, and around the world.

The association says it is specifically looking for photographs of people employed in the field.

The winning photo will be published in the 2007 AME BC calendar and its photographer will receive $500. The second-place contestant will get $300, with third taking home $100.

Photos should be submitted to Jonathan Buchanan, co-ordinator, research and publications, by Sept. 30 via e-mail at jbuchanan@ amebc.ca.
