Almadan active near Munro Lake, BC

A 2,000-metre drill program is testing the Sue claim block, near Munro Lake, B.C., for copper-molybdenum-silver mineralization.

Almaden Resources (AMH-V) is focusing on two large induced-polarization geophysical anomalies, the larger of which measures 3,500 by 1,000 metres.

The anomalies are west and north of the previously drilled Munro Lake anomaly.

A diamond drill program in 1996, which consisted of 1,780 metres in seven holes, encountered porphyry-style potassic alteration and anomalous values of copper, moly and silver.

The Sue claims lie 12 miles south of the past-producing Brenda copper-moly mine.
