A conference on energy and the environment will be held June 12 in Calgary by Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET) of the federal department of Energy, Mines and Resources.
Topics include energy efficiency and its benefits to the environment; pollution control on conventional energy; and alternative energy sources. The conference is also sponsored by Alberta’s Department of Energy, Department of Forestry, Lands and Wildlife and Environment Alberta.
