Akiko-Lori’s suit dismissed

In early July, the British Columbia Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit initiated by Akiko-Lori Gold Resources (VSE) against Ecstall Mining (VSE) relating to the Forgold property in northwestern British Columbia. The ruling held that Ecstall was entitled to terminate its agreement with Akiko, which leaves Akiko with no interest in Ecstall’s Forgold property. Ecstall is now mobilizing crews to the Forgold property to start camp construction followed by a field exploration program. In a separate development, Ecstall recently gave Omega Gold (VSE) seven days in which to elect to contribute to joint venture programs for its other properties in the Iskut-Unuk area. Omega is related by way of common management to Akiko-Lori.
