Diamond sales from North American and African operations generated $8.1 million for Redaurum (RRK-T) in 1996, representing a 219% increase over 1995 revenue of $3.6 million.
The Toronto-based company says increased production from mines at Kelsey Lake in Colorado and at Avontuur in South Africa was a major factor behind the increased sales. Both mines were brought into production last year.
