A new treatment plant installed by Nora Exploration (NXI-M) is operating on schedule and below estimated cost at the company’s diamond project in Ghana.
The junior says the plant, which consists of two Dobson jigs operating in tandem, has increased throughput four-fold, to 32 tons per hour from 8 tons per hour in September of last year.
Nora spent $700,000 to install the plant, of which $500,000 was generated by funds from operations. The company expects it will now be able to mine zones with lower grades than those mined in the past.
