Adrian agreement is terminated

A new development is threatening Adrian Resources’ (VSE) tenuous hold of key ground in the Eskay Creek area north of Stewart, B.C. The company was recently advised that its agreement to earn a 50% interest in the DUP 1-3 claims was terminated by Paul Dupras and Alex Briden, individuals associated with Silver Princess Resources (VSE).

Dupras and Briden received title to these claims after the SKI claims optioned 100% by Adrian from the ARC Resource group were cancelled by the Gold Commissioner. It should be noted that inspectors have also recommended cancellation of the DUP claims, and the IKS claims (subsequently restaked and optioned 100% to Adrian by ARC), although both groups plan to dispute the ruling.

Dupras and Briden, who have title to the DUP claims, said they terminated the agreement with Adrian because the company allegedly withheld significant information regarding the claims “despite several requests for access to any and all data.”

In response, Adrian has served notice to Dupras, Briden and Silver Princess of its intent to begin legal action to enforce the agreement.

Adrian also recently began legal action against Ken McKenzie and Tagish Resources. Last fall, McKenzie, believed to be acting on behalf of Tagish Resources, filed Section 35 complaints and restaked ground held by a number of Prime group companies in the Eskay Creek region, including Adrian Resources.
