Adonos takes option on Costa Rican bet

Vancouver-based Adonos Resources (VSE) has exercised its option to acquire a Costa Rican gold property from Black Cliff Mines (TSE), its parent company. The 79-sq.-km property hosts the Beta Vargas gold deposit, estimated to contain a mineral inventory of 6.8 million tonnes grading 1.3 grams (0.034 oz.) gold per tonne. A drilling campaign aimed at outlining a higher-grade zone within the deposit is under way.

Another prospect on the property, the Canamazo, is estimated to contain 265,000 tonnes averaging 6.4 grams. Adonos says very little information is available for the other two prospects on the property, which are being mapped and sampled.

The property is 120 km west of San Jose and has adequate hydro power and road access. Lyon Lake Mines (ME) has the option to acquire a 50% interest by financing the current exploration program.
