The company, with a 50% interest in the property, says it wants to re-evaluate the property’s potential in light of the nearby Aur/Louvem copper-zinc discovery in Louvicourt Twp. Acquisitor’s partner in the Dubuisson project is Stabell Resources (ME).
A drill hole in 1974, the company says, intersected more than 100 ft of copper sulphides in acid volcanics at a relatively shallow depth at the property’s southern end. Also, it reports drilling of the No 5 vein area has returned encouraging gold values.
Meanwhile, Acquisitor is involved in legal activity with a private Toronto company, Hunter & Associates, over a share-issuing agreement. Acquisitor also reports it has issued 750,000 shares to Stabell to settle $300,000 of debt.
