Aber encouraged at Russell Lake

Encouraging assay values have been received by Aber Resources from the company’s S.P. property near Russell Lake, N.W.T. Two holes in the main zone intersected multiple gold-bearing zones. Hole 36 cut a 2.8-ft section grading 0.194 oz gold per ton and hole 37 intersected 2.6 ft grading 0.139 oz. Two other section in hole 37 graded 0.598 and 0.36 oz gold across 4.3 ft and 3.3 ft respectively.

In the south zone, the best values came from hole 39 which cut a 5.5-ft section grading 0.378 oz. Additional exploration work this summer will include trenching, mapping and prospecting of nearby claims, the company says. Follow- up diamond drilling will resume after spring break-up.
